Apprenticeships
Apprenticeships are a fantastic way to kick-start your career and increase your skills while giving you the opportunity to earn while you learn. Here at Terumo Aortic, we offer a range of modern and graduate apprenticeship opportunities, from Manufacturing, IT, Engineering, Customer Services and Business Management– there really is something for everyone!
Our Modern Apprenticeships are all work-based learning meaning there is no requirement to attend College, and all learning & assessment are carried out in the workplace. These programmes normally last 12-18 months.
Our Graduate Apprenticeships give our associates the opportunity to work towards a degree level qualification. These are normally delivered over 4 years with a mix of time at university and in the workplace. 1 day per week at university and the remaining 4 days of the week in the workplace.
Graduate Prorgam
Hiring the best talent in the market is fundamental to our success, we therefore look to recruit students across the country for our graduate programmes, we currently offer graduates roles in Engineering and Automation with further opportunities explored regularly.
Our graduate programmes typically last 2 years and are designed to promote personal and professional growth of new talent into our business through our various technologies, procedures and processes to enhance their understanding of our business operations.
STEM Prorgam
Through our STEM Ambassador Programme our associates have the opportunity to work in conjunction with schools, colleges and other institutions to support and encourage young people across the UK with the aim of raising young people’s engagement and achievement in STEM subjects and careers.
We support by attending various careers fayres, delivering classroom presentations and facilitating interactive activities to engage pupils with STEM related subjects.
Charities and Partnerships
We collaborate with local charities to support and enrich our communities. Additionally, we partner with Aortic Dissection Awareness UK & Ireland, Aortic Hope, and The Marfan Foundation to raise awareness about aortic conditions.
We encourage all our associates to participate in various charity events throughout the year at our sites. It’s a fantastic opportunity to give back to our local communities and support worthy causes.
