I have worked in Terumo Aortic now for 10 years and in that time my experience and knowledge has grown, with taking part in numerous courses provided by the company. I conduct the room tour for our department when some of the top Cardio thoracic surgeons come to visit, showing them around and explaining the manufacture process. I have also been lucky enough to represent the company on the world stage by attending symposiums in numerous countries to demonstrate how we manufacture the Thoraflex Hybrid device. These have lead me to build my confidence and I have attained the role as Manufacturing support specialist.

Since joining Terumo Aortic I’ve found the working environment to be nurturing and supportive. I really feel part of a team working towards a worthwhile set of goals. The pace of work isn’t as intense of any corporate entity I’ve worked for. Focus is on the quality of the work you deliver. I’ve found a career at Terumo Aortic with the knowledge that what I do goes towards changing and saving people’s lives.
