During the visit, His Royal Highness met members of the Terumo Aortic team and toured the facility, learning more about the company’s approach to developing and manufacturing innovative solutions for patients with complex aortic disease. The Duke was shown a short video highlighting the experience of a patient who received one of Terumo Aortic’s grafts and the positive impact it has had on their life.

His Royal Highness was also introduced to a selection of Terumo Aortic’s innovative products and learned how close collaboration with clinicians and healthcare professionals helps drive the development of solutions designed to address the complex and individual needs of patients.

To conclude the visit, His Royal Highness presented Terumo Aortic with the King’s Award for Enterprise, recognising the company’s achievements in innovation. This marks the company’s second King’s Award for Enterprise, bringing its total number of Queen’s and King’s Awards to ten, an achievement of which the company is extremely proud.
